An Apostolic publication promoting balanced conservatism … "the finest of the wheat!"

The doctrine of the Trinity teaches that God exists in three persons – “God the Father”, “God the Son” and “God the Holy Ghost”.
.

“God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity” – so goes the famous Doxology. And this doctrine is considered by mainstream Christianity to be orthodoxy, or, in other words, the Triune Godhead is the only acceptable way to believe in God.

.
According to this doctrine, every time a reference is made to God in discourse (without any additional qualifiers such as “the Father” or “the Son” or “the Holy Ghost”) we are to understand that all three persons of the Triune Godhead are being indicated implicitly. In other words, the implication of the term “God” is “the Trinity” (as the Godhead is called by Trinitarians): “God the Father”, “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Ghost”.
.
Therefore, for those who hold this doctrine, the scripture must also be evaluated using this implied “equivalent value” (in the manner of the Substitution Property of Equality in Mathematics) in order to properly understand its fundamental meaning and grasp its true significance.
.
In other words, virtually everywhere the word “God” occurs in the scripture it should be replaced with or understood to signify “the Trinity” – or “God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost”.
.
It doesn’t take very much intellectual industry to realize that this line of reasoning soon collapses under its own weight, proving once and for all that the Trinity Doctrine is based on a logical fallacy and is ipso facto False Doctrine!
.
Take the following verses, for example:
.
Genesis 1:1
“In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth” becomes
.
“In the beginning ‘the Trinity’ created the Heavens and the Earth”… or
.
“In the beginning ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’ created the Heavens and the Earth.”
.
John 1:1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” becomes
.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with ‘the Trinity’, and the Word was ‘the Trinity’” … or
.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’, and the Word was ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’”.
.
Deuteronomy 6:4
“Hear, O Israel: YHWH our God, YHWH is One” becomes
.
“Hear, O Israel: YHWH our ‘Trinity’, YHWH is One” … or
.
“Hear, O Israel: YHWH our ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’, YHWH is One”.
.
Isaiah 45:5
“I am YHWH, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me” becomes
.
“I am YHWH, and there is none else, there is no ‘Trinity’ beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me” … or
.
“I am YHWH, and there is none else, there is no ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’ beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me”.
.
Genesis 17:1
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the YHWH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect” becomes
.
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the YHWH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty ‘Trinity’; walk before me, and be thou perfect” … or
.
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the YHWH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’; walk before me, and be thou perfect”.
.
Genesis 32:30
“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved” becomes
.
“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen ‘the Trinity’ face to face, and my life is preserved” … or
.
“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’ face to face, and my life is preserved”.
.
Psalm 100:3
“Know ye that YHWH he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture” becomes
.
“Know ye that YHWH he is ‘the Trinity’: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture” … or
.
“Know ye that YHWH he is ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture”.
.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” becomes
.
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear ‘the Trinity’, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For ‘the Trinity’ shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” … or
.
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’ shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil”.
.
Matthew 4:6
“And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone” becomes
.
“And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of ‘the Trinity’, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone” … or
.
“And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of ‘God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost’, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone”.
.
It becomes abundantly clear from these and countless other similar examples found literally on every page of the Bible that the Trinity Doctrine’s definition of God is logically flawed and therefore theologically untenable!

Amen!! The whole truth and nothing but the truth. You can’t make it any more plain than that.
